Our Vision
Early childhood is crucial in the development of intellectual, emotional and social skills.
Studies show that children born into a poor family and were malnourished in the first years of their lives have poorer school results and poorer cognitive function.
Poor school results lead to low employment opportunities and a low income as an adult. Like this, poverty is transmitted from generation to generation.
With Roberta’s Nursery, we break this intergenerational cycle of poverty on a small-scale by giving the very youngest children a good start. We expect this to benefit the entire community.
Our foundation wants to permanently operate, expand and eventually establish several kindergartens in Malawi to be able to take care of and educate more children.
In this way, we want to contribute to increasing the chances and standard of living of the children in Malawi.
